MTS Assist the Kilchoan Melfort Trust in Rewilding Scottish Sea Lochs

Rewilding efforts in Scottish sea lochs and estuaries have seen a significant focus on the

restoration of native oyster populations, particularly the European flat oyster (Ostrea edulis). To help with this rewilding MTS have developed a multi-stage biological model of oyster larvae (Ostrea edulis) in order to assess their distribution when released from five sites in Loch Melfort.
